Hi, I'm John! I will help you with this.

To help narrow down the issue:

  1. Is this a new website, or has it been live for a while?
  2. Are any pages at all indexed in Bing, or is it showing 0 pages?
  3. In Bing Webmaster Tools, do you see any Crawl Errors, Blocked URLs, or Indexing warnings?

If your site was previously indexed in Bing but suddenly disappeared, it’s possible it’s undergoing a quality or product review. This is quite common with coupon and deals websites.

I recommend checking the Support section inside Bing Webmaster Tools https://www.bing.com/webmasters to see if there’s any notice of a manual action or if the site is currently under review for quality-related issues. Bing doesn’t always send automatic alerts, so checking there directly is important.

If you don’t see any clear warnings, it usually means the review is still in progress. In that case, the best approach is to continue improving content quality and wait for the review to complete.

If the issue persists, please provide more details by answering my questions.

To troubleshoot why your website is not being indexed by Bing, consider the following steps:

  1. Verify Ownership: Ensure that your site is verified in Bing Webmaster Tools. You can do this using methods like XML file authentication or HTML meta tag authentication. Make sure that the verification process is completed successfully.
  2. Check Robots.txt: Ensure that your robots.txt file does not contain any disallow rules that might prevent Bing from crawling your site. You can use Bing Webmaster Tools to edit and test your robots.txt file.
  3. Submit URLs: Use the URL submission feature in Bing Webmaster Tools to submit your important URLs directly. This can help expedite the indexing process.
  4. Run an SEO Scan: Use the Bing Webmaster Tools Site Scan feature to identify any SEO issues that may be affecting your site's visibility. Fix any issues that are reported.
  5. Update Sitemap: Ensure that your sitemap is up to date and submitted to Bing. This helps Bing discover your URLs more effectively.
  6. Meta Descriptions: Make sure each page has a well-crafted meta description, as this can influence how Bing displays your pages in search results.
  7. Avoid Nofollow Tags: Check that you are not using nofollow or noindex tags on important pages, as these will prevent Bing from indexing them.

By following these steps, you should be able to identify and resolve the issue preventing your site from being indexed by Bing.
