I just resubscribed to Microsoft Office for an annual subscription for £89.99. I just saw an advert for MS Office 365 saying limited time offer. 50% off £189.99 you pay £89.99. So that is price washing. Why do companies do this. I have never paid £189.99 for MS Office. It is so wrong.

Hi. Microsoft shows a standard annual list price for Microsoft 365, then applies limited time discounts on microsoft.com. The £189.99 figure reflects the regular list price. The £89.99 figure reflects the discounted offer you purchased.

It is subscription pricing model shown under Services and subscriptions on the Microsoft website.

Did you buy Microsoft 365 Personal or Family, and did the offer appear on microsoft.com or from another seller.
