I do not understand why you have charged $99.99 for a subscription that I have not authorized. I am paying $12.99 a month for a family plan and the emails related are under my plan. Please refund my money back asap.

Hi, I'm John! I will help you with this.

Microsoft Q&A is public, and we can only provide information. It is beyond our capability to assist directly with billing-related concerns.

The fastest way to confirm this is to sign in at https://account.microsoft.com/services and check all subscriptions listed there. Also click Payment & billing > Order history to see exactly which subscription generated the $99.99 charge.

If you find a subscription there that you don’t recognize, you can cancel it and request a refund directly from that page. If it doesn’t appear under your current email, it usually means the charge was made from another Microsoft account that’s still linked to your card.

To resolve this unauthorized charge and receive a refund, you must contact Microsoft Support directly:

    • Here is the link: https://support.microsoft.com/home/contact
    • Type this keyword and press Enter: Contact Support.
    • At the bottom, click "Sign in to contact support" and sign in with your Personal Microsoft account (Not work or school account), or click "Contact Support" if you're already signed in.
    • In Product and services, select "Microsoft 365 and Office".
    • In Category, select "Billing and Account Profile questions".
    • Click "Chat with a support agent in your web browser".

If you ever find yourself stuck in a loop, please use the keywords "Contact Support" or "Live Chat" (without the quotes) and click "Contact Support" at the bottom.

I really hope this information is helpful! Let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

    Regards,

    John J.D.

If you have been charged for a subscription that you did not authorize, it is important to check the following:

    1. Billing Frequency Changes: If you changed your billing frequency from monthly to annual, this could result in a larger charge.
    2. Multiple Subscriptions: Ensure that there are no additional subscriptions associated with your account that you may not be aware of, such as a Business Standard subscription.
    3. Free Trial: If you were on a free trial and did not cancel recurring billing, charges may apply after the trial ends.

To request a refund, you should contact Microsoft 365 Support directly. They can assist you with your billing inquiries and help process your refund if applicable.
