Hello, I spent a long time without using my Tenant in Azure and when trying to use it now I am getting several errors such as:

AADSTS5000225 (Tenant Disabled). Error message that appears every now and then:

Error message: interaction_required: interaction_required: AADSTS5000225: This tenant has been blocked due to inactivity. To learn more about tenant lifecycle policies, see https://aka.ms/TenantLifecycle Trace ID: 5f4ddc11-2439-4101-a104-614e7a252800 Correlation ID: 019bce8a-56f8-7dbd-bb30-c32d968ee586 Timestamp: 2026-01-18 00:38:52Z

Note: Sometimes I can access and my directories appear, but I cannot create any resources. I tried to open a Ticket in Support but without success.

Hello Ronan Faccio Damasceno

As discussed over private messages, please login to Azure with the tenant specific endpoint and pass the tenant ID I provided.

https://portal.azure.com/TenantID

And you will be able to access Azure portal.

    Hey there, Ronan Faccio Damasceno

In addition to the answer above, to contact Microsoft business support, please reach out to them using the phone numbers provided in this article here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/topic/customer-service-phone-numbers-c0389ade-5640-e588-8b0e-28de8afeb3f2

When speaking to the AI bot, please speak clearly. I would recommend saying 'Tenant locked out due to activity' which should allow the bot to transfer you to the right team for them to handle your request.

If the tenant has been inactive for more then 220 days, then support may not be able to reactivate your tenant. Thus, you would need to create a new tenant by signing up for the Azure pay as you go subscription again here: https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2234155&clcid=0x409&l=en-us

To make it easier, I would use a new Microsoft account to create the tenant. Then add your old Microsoft account as admin through the Entra ID service through the Azure portal. For more information on how to create a new tenant, please visit this article here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/entra/fundamentals/create-new-tenant

    Hope this helps,
    Nathan
