To fix the network error on your new computer and connect it to your home network, you can follow these steps:

    1. Check Network Adapter: Ensure that your network adapter is properly installed and functioning. You can do this by:
      • Right-clicking on Start and selecting Device Manager.
      • Expanding the Network adapters section to see if your adapter is listed and working properly.
    2. Run Network Troubleshooter: Windows has a built-in troubleshooter that can help diagnose and fix network issues. To run it:
      • Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Status.
      • Click on Network troubleshooter and follow the prompts.
    3. Check Wi-Fi Settings: If you are trying to connect via Wi-Fi, make sure that Wi-Fi is enabled on your computer. You can usually find a physical switch or a function key that enables/disables Wi-Fi.
    4. Connect to the Network: If you see your home network listed, click on it and enter the password if prompted. If it does not appear, ensure that your router is powered on and broadcasting the signal.
    5. Update Network Drivers: Sometimes, outdated drivers can cause connectivity issues. You can update your network drivers by:
      • Going back to Device Manager, right-clicking on your network adapter, and selecting Update driver.
    6. Restart Your Devices: Restart your computer and your router to refresh the network connection.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, you may need to check for any specific error messages or codes that can provide more insight into the problem.
