No matter how many times I delete it, a folder in Onedrive keeps coming back called attachments.

This is the web based version of One Drive.

Hi, I'm John! I will help you with this.

Could it be related to Outlook saving email attachments to OneDrive? Outlook sometimes automatically creates an “Attachments” folder in the background, which can cause it to reappear.

To confirm, could you please share a screenshot showing where the folder appears in OneDrive? Please blur any personal or sensitive information since this is a public forum.

It seems that the "attachments" folder in OneDrive may be automatically created by the integration with Microsoft Outlook when you use the modern attachments feature. This feature allows you to share OneDrive files directly in Outlook, and it may generate a folder for managing these attachments.

To prevent this folder from reappearing, you might want to check your Outlook settings regarding attachments and see if there are any options to disable this behavior. Additionally, ensure that any syncing settings related to Outlook and OneDrive are configured to your preference.

If the problem persists, consider reaching out to Microsoft support for further assistance, as they may provide more specific guidance based on your account settings and usage.
