If Outlook is freezing while loading the profile, it could be due to several reasons. Here are some potential causes and solutions:

    1. Antivirus Software: Sometimes, antivirus software can interfere with Outlook. You may want to disable any Outlook integration within your antivirus software or disable any antivirus add-ins installed in Outlook. However, be cautious as changing antivirus settings can expose your PC to risks.
    2. Corrupted User Profile: Your user profile might be corrupted. You can try creating a new Outlook profile to see if that resolves the issue. To create a new profile:
      • Open Control Panel, then click on Mail.
      • Click on Show Profiles.
      • Select the profile you want to remove and click Remove.
      • Click Add to create a new profile, entering the necessary information.
    3. Large Mailboxes: If your mailboxes are too large, it can cause performance issues. Consider archiving old emails or cleaning up your mailbox.
    4. Updates: Ensure that you have installed the latest updates for Outlook. Sometimes, not having the latest updates can cause freezing issues.
    5. Repair Outlook: If you haven’t already, you can try repairing your Microsoft 365 programs through the Control Panel.
    6. Selective Startup: Performing a selective startup can help identify if other applications or services are causing conflicts with Outlook. This is a more advanced step and should be done carefully.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, you may want to run the Classic Outlook Advanced Diagnostics troubleshooter, which can help identify and fix problems with Outlook.
