Good morning,

We are writing to request urgent assistance with canceling our business subscription,

We are currently unable to access our account and as a result we cannot manage or cancel our subscription, we urgently need your help to resolve this issue as soon as possible,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A. 

    Thank you for reaching out, and I’m really sorry to hear that you’re unable to access your account while urgently trying to cancel your Microsoft 365 Business subscription.

    Based on how Microsoft 365 Business plans normally work, cancellation can only be completed after the subscription owner (the Global Admin) is successfully verified. Since you currently cannot sign in, the correct path is indeed to speak directly with Microsoft Support or the Microsoft Data Protection team, as they are the only teams who can validate tenant ownership and assist with restoring access or processing a cancellation.

    Please note that forum moderators have no control over user accounts, especially when it comes to logging in to your account, resetting your password, changing your access, etc. 

    The phone number you tried is correct and definitely the right direction. Sometimes the line can be busy depending on local support hours, so it may help to try again. You can also try the alternate UK support number: (0)344 800 6006

    If you still can’t get through by phone,you might consider registering for a new tenant by signing up for a trial subscription via this link Compare All Microsoft 365 Plans | Microsoft. This would allow you to create a new tenant following the provided prompts. Once set up, you can access the admin console of the new tenant and submit a support ticket requesting to speak with the Data Protection team on behalf of your previous tenant.

    Please remember to cancel the trial subscription once your issue is resolved to avoid any unintended charges.
