Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
Hi ACHINT JAIN,
Good day. I'm Jhun an independent advisor. In regards with your account's country setup, try these options below and see what will fix the problem.
A. Cancel and Restart with Correct Country
- Go to: https://account.microsoft.com/services.
- Cancel the current Microsoft 365 student offer setup (if it appears there).
- Sign out of all Microsoft accounts in your browser.
- Open a private/incognito window.
- Go to the Microsoft 365 Student page again: https://www.microsoft.com/education/products/office
- Make sure the country/region is set to India (check the bottom of the page).
- Start the verification process again.
B. Change Country in Your Microsoft Account.
- If the country is locked to USA, go to https://account.microsoft.com/profile
- Click Edit profile info.
- Change Country/Region to India.
- Save changes.
- Sign out and sign back in.
- Note: Sometimes Microsoft doesn’t allow region change if there’s an active subscription attempt, in that case, Option A works better.
I hope this helps.
Regards,
Jhun
