    Hi ACHINT JAIN,

Good day. I'm Jhun an independent advisor. In regards with your account's country setup, try these options below and see what will fix the problem.

    A. Cancel and Restart with Correct Country

    1. Go to: https://account.microsoft.com/services.
    2. Cancel the current Microsoft 365 student offer setup (if it appears there).
    3. Sign out of all Microsoft accounts in your browser.
    4. Open a private/incognito window.
    5. Go to the Microsoft 365 Student page again: https://www.microsoft.com/education/products/office
    6. Make sure the country/region is set to India (check the bottom of the page).
    7. Start the verification process again.

    B. Change Country in Your Microsoft Account.

    1. If the country is locked to USA, go to https://account.microsoft.com/profile
    2. Click Edit profile info.
    3. Change Country/Region to India.
    4. Save changes.
    5. Sign out and sign back in.
    6. Note: Sometimes Microsoft doesn’t allow region change if there’s an active subscription attempt, in that case, Option A works better.

    I hope this helps.

    Regards,
    Jhun

To resolve the issue of entering the wrong country during your student verification process, you will need to update your account information to reflect the correct country (India). This is important because the payment methods and verification processes can vary based on the country selected.

Here are the steps you can take:

    1. Log in to your Microsoft account and navigate to the account settings.
    2. Update your country/region to India. This may involve changing your billing address and other related information.
    3. After updating your country, try entering your card details again. Ensure that the card information matches the billing address you provided.
    4. If you continue to face issues, consider reaching out to Microsoft support for further assistance with your account settings and payment issues.
