AFAIK, Microsoft does not offer “Viva Professional Certificates.”. Certificates come from the content provider. For example, there is Microsoft Learn content tied to a Microsoft Certification exam, with the credential issued by Microsoft after you pass the required exam. This does not apply here.

MS Learn offers a number of Viva courses - for those, refer to https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/training/browse/?terms=viva

For more comprehensive info, refer https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/viva/

So It is like this.Module is the shortest Lerning unit in Microsoft Learn.Which is equal a single lesson. At the end of each module you ll get a module assesment. If you pass it that module is marked as pass.Related Modules arranged to form a Learning Path.If you pass all the modules in that Learning path you will get a trophy.Related Learning paths are arranged to form a career path.To complete the career path you need to complete all the learning paths plus the certification at the end. Those are called Milestones.

To complete a Microsoft Viva Learning Path and obtain a Professional Certificate, follow these steps:

    1. Understand Learning Paths: A learning path in Microsoft Viva Learning is a curated collection of learning objects or activities that help you achieve specific learning goals, such as skill improvement or onboarding. It is not the same as a career path, which refers to the broader progression of roles and skills in your professional journey.
    2. Prerequisites: Ensure you have the necessary prerequisites:
      • A premium license for Viva Learning or Viva Suite.
      • Admin or knowledge manager permissions to create or access learning paths.
    3. Accessing Learning Paths: Once you have the required permissions and license, you can access the learning paths through the Viva Learning platform. Here’s how:
      • Log in to your Microsoft 365 account and navigate to the Viva Learning app.
      • Explore the available learning paths that are relevant to your role or interests. You can find content from various learning providers that your organization has enabled.
    4. Curating Your Learning Path: If you have the permissions to create a learning path, you can curate content by selecting various learning modules that align with your professional development goals. This may include courses, tutorials, and other resources.
    5. Engagement and Certification: Engage with the learning materials, complete the required modules, and participate in any assessments or evaluations. Upon successful completion, you may receive a Professional Certificate that recognizes your achievements in the learning path.

By following these steps, you will be well on your way to completing a Microsoft Viva Learning Path and earning your Professional Certificate.
