Lost my phone and access to Microsoft Authenticator. I wasn’t able to recover via cloud backup. It’s there any other way to recover it? I have access to the email, phone number registered and documents to prove identity.

If you have lost access to Microsoft Authenticator and cannot recover it via cloud backup, you can try the following steps:

    1. Use Recovery Options: Since you have access to the registered email and phone number, you can attempt to recover your account using the official recovery form at Microsoft. This typically involves verifying your identity through the email or phone number associated with your account.
    2. Contact Microsoft Support: If the recovery options do not work, you may need to contact Microsoft Support directly. Explain your situation and provide any documents that prove your identity. They can assist you in resetting your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) settings.
    3. Reach Out to Data Protection Team: If you are the only global admin for your account and cannot access the admin portal, you might need to contact the Microsoft Data Protection team for assistance in resetting your authentication methods.

By following these steps, you should be able to regain access to your account and set up your authentication methods again.
