    Hi @Ronel van der Vyver,

Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

In Azure DevOps, there is no separate place to add a PBI to the Iteration Backlog.

To get a Product Backlog Item (PBI) onto a Sprint:

    Option 1:

    • Go to Boards =>Sprints

    Select the Sprint

    • Click New Work Item =>Product Backlog Item

It will automatically be added to that Sprint (iteration).

    Option 2:

    Open an existing PBI

Change the Iteration Path to the Sprint you want

There's no separate backlog level to add it, it must have the Sprint’s Iteration Path set correctly.

    Hope this helps!

To add a Product Backlog Item (PBI) to the Iteration Backlog in Azure DevOps, you can follow these steps:

    1. Open the Iteration Backlog: Navigate to the Iteration backlog where you want to add the PBI.
    2. Edit the Backlog: Access the Edit backlog dialog from the context menu for the Iteration backlog.
    3. Add Work Item Types: In the dialog, you can add the Product Backlog Item work item type. Ensure that the PBI is checked to include it in the backlog.
    4. Save Changes: After making your changes, save them to update the Iteration backlog.

Note that while you can add PBIs, you cannot remove the default inherited work item type from the Iteration backlog. However, you can disable it, which effectively removes it from the user interface.

This approach allows you to manage your PBIs on the sprint board instead of tasks, aligning with your company's workflow preferences.
