Dear @Aron O'Cass,
Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Q&A forum. I am happy to assist you.
Could you please confirm whether you are opening the file directly from a Teams channel or team within Microsoft Teams, or if you are opening it via SharePoint?
If the issue occurs when opening the file through SharePoint, it may be related to trusted site settings. Specifically, the SharePoint site may not be added as a trusted location in the Office application, which can prevent files from opening correctly. In this case, please try adding your SharePoint site as a trusted location by following these steps:
Open the Office application you are using to open the file (for example, Word for a Word document).
Go to File > Options > Trust Center > Trust Center Settings.
Select Trusted Locations. > Check Allow trusted locations on my network. > Select Add new location
Paste the SharePoint file or site link, then select OK to save the changes.
Then try open the file again to see if the issuer persists.
If the issue persists, it may be caused by a mismatch between the account signed in to the Office application and the account used to access SharePoint. To verify this, please open the Office application and go to File > Account, then confirm that the signed‑in account matches the account you use to sign in to SharePoint.
If the accounts are different, please add the correct account by following these steps:
Select File > Account > Choose Switch Accounts
Select Add Account
Enter the credentials for the account used to sign in to SharePoint and complete the sign‑in process
Since I do not have access to your tenant environment, there may be cases where my recommended solutions do not fully resolve the issue or other problems appear. If that happens, please update me right away with any new details or results in the Comment. I will do my best to support you and help find a solution as quickly as possible.
