    Hi,

Thank you for sharing your question. I appreciate you taking the time to express how this issue is affecting you. I understand how frustrating it can feel when important features don’t work the way you expect, especially when it disrupts your workflow or adds unnecessary stress. The behavior you’re seeing often occurs due to browser interference, outdated app versions, cached data, or inconsistent upload handling across different Microsoft 365 services, and these issues can sometimes appear after service-side updates.

To help move toward a resolution, I recommend signing in through a private or incognito window, clearing your browser cache, updating your Office apps to the latest version, and testing the attachment process from both Outlook on the web and the desktop app to determine whether the problem is environment-specific. If the issue continues after these checks, the next best step is to submit the problem through the Microsoft 365 Support portal so the engineering team can review the logs and identify whether this is a known service incident or a configuration issue on your tenant.

May I ask where you are attaching files from, whether this is happening across all devices, and whether the issue appears with specific file types or file sizes? Please feel free to share more details, and I’m here to help you troubleshoot further until the attachment experience works smoothly again.

    I hope this helps.

    Best Regards,

    Noel
