I changed my PC and installed the already purchased Microsoft office to new PC. I entered the activation key. but later it is showing problems in activation and requested to repeat the process later on.

When you first installed and activated Office that licence should have become associated to your Microsoft Account as a digital licence online and it is from there that you can re-install Office without the need for a product key:
Newer versions of Office won't let you reuse the product key. Instead, you have to use your associated Microsoft account to reinstall.

Yes, versions from Office 2013, previous versions, Office 97, 2003, 2007, 2010; were not connected to a Microsoft Account. The European Court held that these older versions could be transferred to another person by gift or for cash. This still applies to the newer versions but this is prevented by Microsoft linking Office to a Microsoft Account. See the Office licence "3. Transfer to a Third Party. The provisions of this section do not apply if you acquired the software in the European Economic Area (EEA) and only transfer it to another person or entity within the EEA, in which case any transfer of the software and the right to use it must comply with applicable law. "
Hi, you have not said which version of Microsoft Office you have, but there is no possible way to use the Product Key to redeem a legitimate version of Microsoft Office. Is this a Pro Plus version?
Note: you can only use the Product Key once to redeem Office, thereafter you can reinstall Office on another computer (after uninstalling it from old one) from Services & Subscription of the Microsoft Account that you used to redeem Office along with the Product Key. Can you sign in at Services and Subscriptions of the Microsoft Account that you used to redeem Office.
