    Hi Bonnie Lipner,

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A forum.

I understand you are trying to reach a support technician about an Outlook syncing issue, especially since this was resolved before and has now come back.

I also see there is already a Q&A Assist answer above, and the support direction it provides is generally appropriate. Have you had a chance to try those contact steps yet, and did you reach the live support options successfully?

Since this is a user-to-user forum, contributors cannot initiate a phone call or access the account directly. However, if you would like community help troubleshooting, could you share what exactly is not syncing (email, calendar, or contacts), where it fails, and whether you are signing in with an Outlook.com/Hotmail address or a work/school account?

If you would like to contact support directly, live chat is typically the supported real-time channel for personal accounts. Please follow below steps to reach a live agent:

    1. Visit the Microsoft Support contact page: Contact - Microsoft Support
    2. In the search bar provided on the page, type "Outlook issue" and press Enter.
    3. Click on the "Get Help" button that appears.
    4. Scroll down the page until you see and click on the "Contact Support" option.
    5. When prompted to select your product or service, choose "Other Products".
    6. For the category, choose "Outlook".
    7. Look for and click on "Chat with a support agent in your web browser".
    8. Confirm your personal email when prompted - this is the email Microsoft will use to communicate with you during and after the support session.
    9. Explain your situation clearly: Be concise but provide all the relevant details.

I hope this points you to the right support path, and if you share the exact sync symptom, the community can also help narrow it down.

To have a support technician help with Outlook syncing, use Microsoft’s official support channels rather than waiting for an unsolicited call.

For Outlook.com or Microsoft 365 accounts and sync issues with Outlook and mobile devices:

    1. If this is about syncing email/calendar/contacts with a phone or tablet and it was working before but stopped, follow the guidance under Fix Outlook.com email sync issues linked from the sync article.
    2. If the issue is specifically with the Outlook mobile app (iOS/Android):
      • Open the Outlook app.
      • Use the in-app help to Contact Support and request assistance or chat with an agent, as described under “Open an in-app Outlook support ticket.”
    3. If the problem is with device partnership/sync from Outlook on the web:
      • Sign in to Outlook on the web.
      • Go to Settings > General > Mobile devices.
      • Select the device and delete the device partnership, save, then power the device off and back on and re-sync.
    4. If direct support is needed beyond self-help:
      • Go to the Microsoft Support site and use the Get Help / Contact support flow described in the references (for Outlook.com and Microsoft account help). After signing in, choose the product (Outlook/Outlook.com/Microsoft 365) and follow prompts to reach a support option (chat or callback where available).

If this is a work or school (Microsoft 365 for business or Exchange) account, contact the organization’s Microsoft 365 admin or technical support so they can open a support ticket with Microsoft on behalf of the user.
