Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

You can try these troubleshooting steps here and see if they help.

    1

Connect your device to a different Wi-Fi network and sign in with your Microsoft account.

    Turn on your Mobile hotspot.

Then connect your PC to the Mobile hotspot network and connect to OneDrive.

    2

    Reset OneDrive.

You can follow the steps in the Microsoft article here to successfully reset OneDrive.

    Reset OneDrive

Once done, see if you can get connected.

    3

    Network Reset.

    Open Command Prompt as Administrator.

Execute the commands below one by one and click Enter for each command.

    netsh winsock /reset
    netsh int ip reset
    ipconfig /release
    ipconfig /renew
    ipconfig /flushdns

Once completed, restart your computer and connect to OneDrive.

You can also run the network troubleshooter from Settings > System > Troubleshooters > Other troubleshooter > Network > Click Run.

    Once completed, restart your computer.

If you are still having issues, let me know.

Follow these steps to fix the OneDrive connection issue:

    1. Confirm that OneDrive is signed in
      • If the OneDrive icon in the taskbar is gray or has a line through it, it means it is not signed in.
      • Select the icon and complete the “Set up OneDrive” screen with the email address and password for the account used with OneDrive.
    2. Verify username and password
      • Make sure the account credentials are correct by signing in to the Microsoft account dashboard. If sign-in fails, use the sign‑in helper to recover the account.
    3. Check for firewall/ISP blocking
      • Even if browsing works, a firewall, VPN, or internet provider configuration can block OneDrive specifically.
      • Temporarily test with another network (for example, using a mobile hotspot). If OneDrive connects there, contact the main internet provider or adjust firewall/VPN settings so Microsoft 365 services are allowed.
    4. Restart the OneDrive app
      • Open Start, search for “OneDrive”, and run it again. If the app is missing or outdated, install the latest version from the official OneDrive download page.

If the problem persists after these steps, review the “Required URLs and ports for OneDrive” guidance (from the referenced article) with the firewall or network administrator to ensure OneDrive endpoints are not blocked.
