WINDOWS ACTIVATION

My laptop came with Windows preinstalled. After checking activation I see:

  • Edition: Windows Professional
  • Product Key Channel: Retail
  • License Status: Notification
  • Notification Reason: 0xC004F034

I ran slmgr /dlv and slmgr /xpr as admin. I checked for an OA3 firmware key and got: [PASTE OA3 OUTPUT OR “none”]. Device serial: PF4X4639. Any suggestions to restore the OEM entitlement or recover the original key or image

    It is unusual if a laptop came pre-installed with a retail licence, not an OEM licence on the motherboard.

    Where did you purchase the laptop, was that from the laptop manufacturer, or from a PC shop or online retailer, and was the laptop new or used when you purchased it?

    What happened on your laptop before Windows was no longer activated.
