My old laptop (which still works) show all of my Sudoku awards for the last few years. My new laptop omits the last two years. How or where to I sync to get these awards on my new laptop, I do not have this issue on my other Microsoft Solitaire Collection games.

This still seems to be a problem. On my PC it shows I'm Level 14, but won't show Awards; asks me to Login into Live that does not work. I recently downloaded Sudoku to my iPad and logged into Xbox Live. On the iPad it shows that I'm Level 6 and haven't done any Dailys for the month. Clearly the sync is screwed up for this game and other Microsoft games.

Hello, good day and thanks for your question. To add to the above, please try to logout and login again to the game to see if there is just a delay on the sync on your new device. Another thing that you can check is to see if the game is up to date and you can check it from the Microsoft Store and complete the update and then check it again afterwards and see how it goes.

Sudoku awards and progress are tied to the Xbox/Microsoft account profile and must roam correctly between PCs when signed into the same account. When they do not, the typical cause is that the game data is not roaming correctly with the signed-in profile on one of the devices.

To get the awards to appear on the new laptop, use this sequence:

    1. On the old laptop
      • Open the Sudoku game.
      • Confirm that it is signed into the same Xbox/Microsoft account that should hold the awards.
      • Ensure the device is online so the latest progress is uploaded.
    2. On the new laptop
      • Open the Xbox app or the in-game sign-in UI and make sure the same Xbox/Microsoft account is signed in as on the old laptop.
      • Start Sudoku and stay online for a while so the game can download cloud data.
    3. Verify roaming behavior
      • Game save progress and profile data must roam between PCs when signed into the Xbox network. If the awards still do not appear, this indicates the title is not correctly recognizing or downloading the cloud save for that profile on the new device.

If, after confirming the same account and being online on both devices, the awards still do not sync, the issue is with the game’s cloud-save implementation for that profile on the second PC. In that case, report the problem through the game’s feedback/support channel or via the Xbox/Microsoft Store feedback options so the title’s roaming behavior can be checked.
