A redeem code (voucher or product key) is not generated automatically just by learning; it is provided by Microsoft or a partner through a specific program (for example, an event, promotion, purchase, or rewards redemption). How to “get” such a code depends on the program:
- Event or webinar vouchers (for certification exams)
- For some Microsoft webinars or events, exam discounts are attached to the email address used to register.
- The discount is applied to the Microsoft Learn profile for that email and appears automatically at the final stage of Pearson VUE checkout, usually within five business days after the event, rather than as a visible code.
- Microsoft Rewards gift card codes
- Earn points via Microsoft Rewards.
- Redeem points for a gift card in the Rewards dashboard.
- After redeeming, go to your Rewards Order History and open Order Details to see the gift card code or link.
- Gift cards or product keys from a purchase
- If a Microsoft 365/Office or other product was purchased, the 25-character product key or code is provided by the retailer (physical card, email, or order page).
- For Office/Microsoft 365, redeem the product key at the setup site (for example, Office.com/setup) as described in the documentation.
- Training keys for WorkshopPLUS labs
- For WorkshopPLUS, the instructor provides a unique training key.
- This key is redeemed in Services Hub under Learning → Redeem Training Key to access labs.
If a specific promotion, course, or event was completed and no code or discount is visible, check the program’s rules/FAQ or confirmation email; many promotions apply discounts directly to the account instead of issuing a separate visible code.
