    Hello sue Hickey

I can see that you are unable to find your Excel file

Excel may still have a recoverable copy depending on whether the file was saved before or was still unsaved when it was closed.

Here are some steps you can try to find your Excel file:

    • Recover Unsaved Workbooks Open Excel and go to File > Info > Manage Workbook > Recover Unsaved Workbooks. If you see daily sales file, open it and choose Save As right away.
    • Check for a recovered version In Excel, go to File > Info and look under Manage Workbook for a version labeled when I closed without saving. If it appears, open it and restore it.
    • Check the AutoRecover folder Press Windows + R, type %AppData%\Microsoft\Excel, and look for recently modified files. If you find the workbook, open it in Excel and save it with a new name.
    • If the file was saved in OneDrive Check Version History for the workbook in OneDrive in case an earlier version is still available.

Feel free reply back to this post if you need further assistance, I'll be happy to help.
