Remove S mode from Windows Pro 11

I need to remove S mode from Windows Pro 11.

When I click GET from the MS Store, it says retry.

Open the start menu and type Windows Update and see if you have any updates pending.

Click on the start menu Type 'WSreset.exe' and hit Enter.

Restart your computer and see if the problem persists.

Windows 11 Pro does not support S mode. If the device is showing Windows 11 Pro in S mode, it must first switch out of S mode through the Microsoft Store, and this change is permanent.

Use these steps to switch out of S mode on Windows 11 when the Store “Get” button fails with Retry:

1. Open the dedicated “Switch out of S mode” page directly:
   • Select this link: Switch out of S Mode.
   • This should open Microsoft Store to the Switch out of S mode page.
2. On that page, select Get.
   • Wait for the confirmation message that switching out of S mode is complete.
   • After confirmation, apps from outside Microsoft Store can be installed and S mode will be removed permanently.

If the device belongs to an organization and switching is blocked, contact the administrator, because organizations can enforce staying in S mode.

Note:

• Switching out of S mode is one-way and cannot be reversed.
• There is no charge to switch out of S mode.
