Processes in Microsoft 365 for setting up Office apps, redeeming product keys, and activating licenses.
This usually happens because the activation window is not rendering correctly on the screen.
Try these steps:
- Close all Office applications.
In Windows, go to Settings > System > Display and temporarily set Scale to 100%. If you're using multiple monitors, disconnect the external monitor and try again.
Restart the computer and reopen the Office activation window.
If the product key field still does not appear, bypass the dialog completely and redeem the key through a web browser:
Sign in to your Microsoft account.
Redeem the key online and complete activation from your account.

Your Office version (Microsoft 365, Office 2024, 2021, etc.)
