I'm trying to open Facebook with Windows Hello but can't seem to do it?

Windows Hello cannot be used to sign in to or unlock specific websites like Facebook directly. Windows Hello is designed to sign in to Windows and supported apps or services that explicitly integrate with it, not to replace each website’s own login system.

To use Facebook on Windows 11 (for example in Microsoft Edge):

1. Sign in to Windows using Windows Hello (face, fingerprint, or PIN).
2. Open Microsoft Edge and go to Facebook.
3. Sign in to Facebook with its own username/password or any sign-in method Facebook provides.

If the issue is that Facebook appears locked or shows a fake Windows Defender or support warning while trying to open it, close the browser using Ctrl+Alt+Del → Task Manager and end the browser tasks, as this is typically a scam page and not related to Windows Hello.

This will only work if you have set up a passkey for your Facebook prior. Refer to Fakebook's instruction regarding how to set it up.
