    Hello

Can you go to https://account.live.com > Subscription and tell me the full name of your subscription and the current status?

Then in Word, go to Files > Accounts and tell me the full name of the product listed here. For example, this is what mine looks like. That's the section I would like to see. Thanks!

The yellow banner means the Office installation is deactivated. The sign‑in loop usually happens when the local activation state does not match the subscription state.

    Try these steps in order:

    1. In any Office app, click Reactivate in the banner.
    2. When prompted, sign in with the Microsoft account that owns the Microsoft 365 or Office license.
    3. If the banner returns or sign‑in loops, close all Office apps, then fully sign out and back in:
      • Open any Office app → FileAccount → under User Information, choose Sign out for every listed account.
      • Close all Office apps.
      • Reopen Word (for example) and sign in again with the licensed account.
    4. If activation still fails, run the Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant on that same PC to repair activation:
      • Use the activation troubleshooter from the article’s Start button and follow the prompts to detect and fix activation issues.
    5. If the troubleshooter does not fix it, deactivate and reinstall Office on this device:
      • Deactivate this install using the steps in Deactivate a Microsoft 365 install.
      • Use the Office easy fix tool to completely uninstall Office.
      • Reinstall Office using the steps in Reinstall Office on a PC or Mac, then start an app and sign in with the licensed account to activate.
    6. If the banner keeps returning after successful sign‑in, ask the Microsoft 365 admin (if applicable) to verify that the subscription is active and that the account still has a valid license assigned. Any recent license changes (moving to another group, switching plans, or turning off the “Latest version of Desktop Apps” service plan) can trigger “Product Deactivated” until corrected.

As a quick workaround while this is being fixed, signing out of all Office apps, closing them, and then signing back in often clears a transient deactivation.
