Hi! Sorry to hear about this. It seems like your email is being redirected. Please, in the account you are using to receive the recovery code, click the gear icon in the upper-right corner, open Mail settings, and review the Rules section. Delete any rule you did not create, especially rules that forward messages, move emails to Deleted/Junk, or hide incoming emails. Also, check Forwarding and IMAP, and make sure no unknown forwarding address is listed. If there is one and it is not yours, remove it immediately.
