Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

This error usually indicates that the connection between your device and Microsoft servers is not working properly. You can check the Service Health Status page to see if there are any known service interruptions in your region.

Meanwhile, please check whether the same issue occurs when your device is connected to a different Wi‑Fi network, such as a mobile hotspot network, and see if you are able to sign in to OneDrive normally:

    https://onedrive.live.com/

You can also try opening a private/incognito browser window or accessing OneDrive in your mobile web browser to see if it works there.

In addition, clear your browsing history, cache, and cookies.

Let me know if you are able to sign in successfully.

Subscription is active. I flushed DNS cache. I still cannot access OneDrive.

A 503 SERVICE UNAVAILABLE error when accessing OneDrive is typically caused by either a subscription problem or a temporary service issue.

    1. Confirm the subscription is active
      • If the Microsoft 365/OneDrive subscription has expired, OneDrive access can fail with connectivity-type errors.
      • Reactivate the subscription if needed by following the guidance in Reactive your subscription.
    2. Flush local DNS cache
      • If the subscription is active but the error persists, the local DNS cache may be stale.
      • On Windows:
        1. Select Start.
        2. Type cmd and open Command Prompt.
        3. Run:
                  ipconfig /flushdns

        4. Press Enter and then try accessing OneDrive again.
    3. Check for broader service issues
      • If multiple users are affected or OneDrive/SharePoint is intermittently slow or unavailable, there may be a temporary service issue on Microsoft’s side.
      • An admin should check the Service Health Dashboard in the Microsoft 365 admin center to see if OneDrive or SharePoint is impacted.
    4. If the issue continues
      • If the subscription is active, DNS has been flushed, and there is no reported service incident, contact Microsoft technical support for further investigation.
