" ... My email and password got changed ... "

If a hacker changed the username and password to your Microsoft account, I'm sorry to tell you that you will never regain that account. There is nothing that you or Microsoft can do about it.

However, since your attacker now knows everything about you that's in your account, and so is likely able to pretend to be you on the internet, you should take every opportunity to protect your identity.

Hi, I'm John! I will help you with this.

To help narrow down the issue:

    1. Can you share what made you think the accounts were hacked?
    2. Does it look like the email address linked to your account was changed?

Also, please try searching for the account using these steps from Microsoft: https://support.microsoft.com/account-billing/forgotten-your-microsoft-account-username-b2049472-3b8f-27d3-61c6-67a668453f4c Click on "Search" and follow the instructions provided.

If you receive any error messages, such as “account doesn’t exist” or anything else, please let me know.
