Based on the information you have provided, I understand that your concern is related to the Copilot icon in Microsoft Word. Could you please confirm if the issue you are experiencing corresponds to the icon shown on the bottom right of the application as the screenshot below?
The floating Copilot button is designed to provide quick and convenient access while you are working within a document. As this is part of a recent update, the current Office applications do not include an option in the user interface to completely disable this feature.
However, to help minimize distractions, you may right-click on the Copilot icon and select the “Dock” option. This will reduce its prominence on the screen, as illustrated in the screenshot below.
Since this is a newly released Microsoft feature, it is still undergoing active development and continuous improvement. To help enhance the product, I strongly encourage you to submit your feedback through the Microsoft Feedback Portal. The Microsoft development teams regularly review customer feedback, and many product improvements and enhancements have been implemented based on user input.
