Hello, today I inserted a new key for Microsoft 365 Family to extend for another year. In my account there is a message saying "next payment on 13.02.2027". How is it possible?

If your subscription was due to expire on 14.04.2026, it is very strange if your subscription will only be extended to 13.02.2027 after extending your subscription by one year, this forum is just a user to user forum, no-one here has any account access, the best option may be to contact Microsoft Support directly to ask them why you only received 10 months for your yearly payment, try using this method to contact their support.

    Go to this link: https://support.microsoft.com/contactus

    Select Microsoft 365

    Click 'Get Home Support'.

In the box provided, type billing.

Press Enter, then on the next page, scroll down and click 'Sign in to Contact Support'.

Navigate to Microsoft 365 and Office - Manage my Subscription.

Select the 'Chat with support agent in web browser' option

Even though my existing subscription was activated 14.04.2025 and has been working up to date.

The expiration date moved to 13.02.2027 because adding a new Microsoft 365 Family key extends the time of the existing subscription, it does not create a separate one.

When a new Microsoft 365 for home subscription (same product type) is added to an account that already has an active subscription, any remaining time is added on top of the new term. For example, if there were about one year remaining and a new one‑year key was redeemed, the total term becomes roughly two years, which explains a “next payment” date further in the future like 13.02.2027.

Note that a Microsoft account can only have one active Microsoft 365 for home subscription at a time, and the duration can be extended up to a maximum of 5 years.
