For this issue, start by confirming that Windows and the printer are not the cause of the poor print quality, then move through the print-quality troubleshooting steps.

    1. Check printer hardware and paper
      • Make sure the correct paper type and size are loaded and that the paper is clean and dry.
      • Confirm that ink levels in the Epson L3250 are not low or empty.
      • Remove any jammed paper or debris inside the printer and restart the printer.
    2. Print a test page directly from the printer
      • Use the Epson L3250 control panel to print a built‑in test page or nozzle check.
      • If this test page also looks very faint or unreadable, the problem is with the printer hardware/ink system, not Windows. In that case, further hardware cleaning or service from Epson support is required.
    3. Verify print settings in Windows 11
      • Select Start > Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners.
      • Select the Epson L3250, then select Printing preferences.
      • Ensure:
        • Print quality or resolution is set to Normal or Best (not Draft/Economy).
        • Any Economy, Draft, or Toner/Ink saver mode is turned off.
        • The selected paper type matches the paper in the printer.
      • Select Apply, then print again.
    4. Use the printer’s own maintenance tools carefully
      • From the Epson software or the printer’s control panel, run Clean printhead or Maintenance only once, then print a test page.
      • Repeat cleaning only if absolutely necessary, because excessive cleaning can waste ink and sometimes worsen output if ink levels are already low.
    5. Update or reinstall the printer driver in Windows
      • Select Start > Device Manager.
      • Expand Printers.
      • Right‑click the Epson L3250 and select Update driver.
      • If no update is available or the problem persists, right‑click again and select Uninstall device.
      • Restart the PC so Windows can reinstall the printer driver automatically.
    6. Try printing from another app or file
      • Print a simple document from another app (for example, Notepad or Word) and also try a different file.
      • If the problem appears only in one app, repair or reinstall that app.

If the printer’s own test page is still very faint after these steps, the issue is with the Epson L3250 hardware/ink system (such as clogged nozzles or air in the ink lines), and Epson’s service or support will be required.
