MSN news comments and account restrictions are controlled entirely by MSN’s own moderation systems, not by Windows, Autopilot, or Microsoft Q&A/Learn. Other support channels cannot see why a specific MSN account was blocked or directly remove a long‑term restriction.
For a restriction that has lasted years, the only supported escalation path is through the MSN feedback mechanism on the MSN site:
- Open any MSN page where article comments normally appear.
- At the bottom right of the MSN page, select the Feedback button.
- In the feedback form, clearly describe the problem:
- That commenting has been blocked for over 3 years.
- That comments are blocked on all articles.
- Approximate date when commenting last worked.
- Submit the feedback so the MSN editorial/product team can review the account and moderation status on their side.
Important points based on existing guidance:
- MSN uses automated (AI) and human moderation. Automated systems can incorrectly flag accounts and apply long‑term restrictions.
- There is no separate technical support or direct contact channel outside the MSN feedback tool for unblocking MSN comments.
- If there were also a general Microsoft account block (for example, due to unusual activity), that would need to be handled through standard Microsoft account recovery and verification flows, but the ability to comment on MSN itself still depends on MSN’s moderation and feedback process.
If feedback has been sent before, send a new, concise report with the details above so the MSN team has current information to investigate.
