Installing Home Office

Can't instal Home office with office 365 loading with it. I paid for Home office to not use Office 365.

Hi,

It sounds like you purchased Office Home, but Office is showing Microsoft 365 when you try to use it on your PC. I suggest uninstalling all existing Office versions first, then reinstalling Office directly from your Microsoft account to avoid conflicts.

You may use the Office Uninstall Support Tool (Uninstaller Troubleshooter) to completely remove all Microsoft Office applications from your device and then reinstall Office afterward.

Once you open the link, click Get Help App. When the tool launches, select Yes, then click Next. Choose the option to uninstall Microsoft 365, and then follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.

To reinstall Office:

1. Go to https://account.microsoft.com/services
2. Sign in using the Microsoft account associated with your license
3. Locate Microsoft Office and click Install
4. This will download the Office installer
5. Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions

Once installed, open any Office app such as Word or Excel, then sign in using the Microsoft account associated with the purchase to activate Office.
