Moldova missing from Microsoft Store developer account Country/Region list

Hello,

I am trying to create an individual Microsoft Store developer account.

During the address step, Moldova / Republic of Moldova is missing from the Country/Region dropdown, so I cannot complete registration.

The form appears to recognize Moldovan postal code format (MD-1234), but Moldova cannot be selected as a country/region.

Could you please confirm whether Microsoft Store developer registration is supported for residents of Moldova?

If Moldova is supported, please tell me how to proceed.

    faced the same problem.

    contacted support, they replied that this is "by design" and that "design" cannot be changed by support.

    as of the reasons, they replied abstractly "company policies".

    so i am too very interested what exact company policies does moldova not comply with?
