outlook.com issues

Question

my microsoft account showing my talktalk address as the primary alias. Since the recent update outlook.com opens an empty mailbox showing outlook BBA24D02CA99A4F8 no folders or messages appear, The BBA24 address is not listed as an alias on my account. I spent all day yesterday with co pilot trying to resolve this issue their reference is 7107674260 please advise

The Outlook temporary address starting with BA***** is attached when you have a 3rd party domain name, which is talktalk in your case.

If you go to https://account.live.com/names/manage page, are you able to add an alias?

The add username is shown but when I create a new username it says this email address is already taken please try another>

The message is self explainatory, can you try using something else, for example add an underscore/number at the end?

Thank you, I see.

1. Press Windows + I to open Settings.
2. Go to Network & internet.
3. Scroll down and click Advanced network settings.
4. Under More settings, select Network reset.
5. Click Reset now.
6. Confirm the prompt.
7. Your PC will restart automatically after about 5 minutes (or restart it manually).

Let me know after that the site is accessible or not.
