What am I missing? Admin access?

So, I just opened a student account so that I could use the features for learning, but I can't access any features because I am not an Admin. What am I missing? How can I create an Admin if I can't even get into the correct area to create an Admin if I'm not already an Admin?

In this case, you may want to try creating a Microsoft 365 Business trial tenant. This will allow you to access and test the business-related admin pages and features that may not be available with your current account type.

Please note that the trial subscription is typically valid for one month. If you do not intend to continue using the service after the evaluation period, I recommend canceling the trial before it expires to help avoid any future charges.

• Are you signing in with a school-provided account or a personal Microsoft account using public domain like Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo,...?
  • It's a school account that I've had for a while, but not one assigned to me for this specific purpose.
• Did you recently sign up for Microsoft Teams for Education or create a new Microsoft 365 Education tenant?
  • No, to both questions.
• What specific feature or page are you attempting to access when you receive the message indicating that you are not an administrator?
  • M365 Admin page and MS Defender, among a few others.
• Are you seeing any error messages or prompts? If so, a screenshot (with any personal information removed) would be helpful.
  • The error messages I got are in the post above.
• Is this account associated with an existing school or organization, or are you trying to set up an environment for learning and testing purposes?
  • Trying to set up as a strictly learning environment, on my own. I use the school account got learning on learn.microsoft.com. But I also need to "get under the hood" so to speak, so that I can learn all the ins and outs of how each app works, so I need all the required privileges of an admin.

These are some screenshots, sorry they look terrible. Apparently it somehow is linked to the college, even though I tried to set it up as a standalone account for practice. Admin and Defender seems to be the main two I can't get into. If I need to do something different, please let me know.
