Microsoft word issue

I am having issue with my microsoft. The document is not being edited

If Word shows that the document cannot be edited, the supported fixes are:

1. Check whether someone else already has the file open.
   • If the file is in a shared location and another person is editing it in the desktop app, the file can open as view-only.
   • In that case, either wait until they close it, or use File > Save As to create a new copy and edit that copy.
2. If no one else is using it, close all Word windows completely.
   • Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete.
   • Open Task Manager.
   • On the Processes tab, end every Winword.exe process.
3. Remove the temporary owner file.
   • Open File Explorer and go to the folder that contains the document.
   • Look for a hidden temporary file that starts with ~$ and matches the document name.
   • Delete that ~$ file.
   • Then reopen Word and open the document again.
   • Note: delete only the temporary ~$ owner file, not the actual document.
4. If the file is opened in Word for the web and editing is blocked:
   • Select Edit Document > Edit.
   • If editing is still not allowed, use File > Create a Copy and edit the new copy, or ask the document owner to enable editing.
5. If the file is stored on OneDrive or SharePoint, coauthoring works best with supported formats and apps.
   • Use a .docx file instead of .doc.
   • Coauthoring is supported in Word 2013, Word 2010, and Word for Mac 2011, but not earlier versions listed in the context.
