Click your Start Button, then just type word.

In the resulting list, do you see the Word app and if so are you able to open Word from there.

If not, please provide a screenshot of the error indicated.

Log into any Microsoft account you may have on this link, do you find your subscription to Microsoft 365 listed and if so, is the expiry date on the subscription listed correctly.

On Windows, installed Office apps are usually found from Start by typing the app name, such as Word or Excel. They may not appear in a separate Microsoft Office folder.

If the install completed but the apps are not opening correctly:

    1. Select Start and search for Word, Excel, or PowerPoint.
    2. If found, open one app and complete the activation prompt.
    3. If the apps still cannot be found, restart the PC.
    4. After restarting, repair Office:
      • Right-click Start
      • In Windows 10 select Apps and Features; in Windows 11 select Installed apps
      • Select the Microsoft Office product
      • Select Modify
      • Choose Online Repair > Repair

If Office was recently changed to a different Microsoft 365 plan and shows Account Notice or Unlicensed product, uninstall the previous Office version with the uninstall troubleshooter, restart, and then reinstall the version that belongs to the current plan.

Checking for a duplicate account cannot be done here.
