Hello, I'm having an error with onenote on my phone. It was working fine until last week. I keep getting a notification that the app is offline and that i need to log in. The app won't let me sign in even though I'm signed in on other Microsoft apps (like one drive). Also, my sticky notes keep disappearing. This issue persists even after logging out of the app ad logging back in. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I have logged into my account on the laptop and can see my notebooks but cannot see my sticky notes

This is the error code information.

Message: Access denied for the resource.

    Hello CF,

I understand OneNote on your Android phone remains offline with error code 9hehw, while your notebooks still open elsewhere and Sticky Notes are missing.

The OneNote sign-in issue does not appear to be isolated. I have recently seen multiple users report the same issue, including posts in different languages.

    Similar reports:

OneNote Android app sign-in failure with Error Tag 9hehw and Code 0 (Entra ID authentication token rejection), Recent Pages not displaying

Android OneNote app in offline mode, Sign In yields "Something went wrong. [9hehw]" message

Android OneNote Update, Unable to sign in

    ...

For now, I suggest using OneNote for the web as a temporary workaround. Regarding the Sticky Notes issue, open Outlook on the web using the same Microsoft account, then select the Notes folder. Check whether the missing Sticky Notes appear there. This helps confirm whether they were previously synced online or remained only on the phone.

Please also submit feedback through Microsoft Feedback Portal. You can vote for an existing report describing the same issue or submit a new one and include the error tag 9hehw, a screenshot, the app version, and the Android version. This can be directed to the relevant product team for investigation.

Since this is a user-to-user support forum, moderators and contributors, including external Microsoft employees, cannot directly access Microsoft’s back-end systems or intervene in product development. Our role is limited to sharing technical guidance based on the available information and experience.

Finally, keep OneNote updated through the Google Play Store so you receive any fixes or improvements that become available.

Thank you so much for your patience!

    Best regards.
