Upgrading a laptop from 1803 to 1909 using a upgrade task sequence, after reboot black screen

I was testing with a user having them upgrade from 1803 to 1909 via task sequence, which is just the upgrade image and the reboot. Everything is working fine until the reboot the machine is on but the screen is black which makes me think maybe it's a display hardware issue, but normally It's on workstations that have a graphics card and you can plug into the onboard and still get it to work. We are doing this over the VPN due to the global pandemic. Here are the SMTS.log

    Hi,

    The error code 80072ee7 means "The server name or address could not be resolved".

    1. Please help check if there is valid network adapter for the device. Refer to:
      SCCM Task Sequence Failing - 0x80072ee7
    2. Also try to verify DNS is working correctly with an nslookup test. Refer to:
      unknown host (gethostbyname failed)
