I'm using Application Insights and its custom metrics in my Azure Functions app.

I use the LogMetric() extension to track metrics in my application, which appears in the customMetrics table in Application Insights.

Are these considered Custom Metrics for pricing?

I see the following in the usage and estimated costs blade for my app insights which shows about 20MB of metrics being logged daily (right), however the monthly usage for custom metrics (left) showing 38 bytes.

AppInsights

Why do these numbers disagree? or does metrics logged this way not count as Custom Metrics for pricing?

Custom metrics is enabled and may incur charges after checking "Enable alerting on custom metric dimensions" under "Usage and estimated Cost blade"
