Point of Distribution processes content automatically?

Hi, team.

I have a problem with several of my client's DPs.
It's processing content or software patches update from March specifically, apparently alone, no user has sent to process or distribute content to the dp.

My question is is there any configuration to tell you to process content a certain time automatically? or some expiration?

What else can I check?

Thank you team, I expect your help.

Are there any ADRs in the environment and have any been recently evaluated?

    Hi,

    Thanks for posting in Q&A.

As agreed with Jason, we could use an automatic deployment rule (ADR) rather than adding new updates to an existing software update group.Typically, we use ADRs to deploy monthly software updates (also known as "Patch Tuesday" updates) and for managing Endpoint Protection definition updates.

Hope this could help you. Thanks for your time.

    Hi.

    Sorry to answer so late.

What I mean is content processing within the DPs, it processes itself, is it possible?

OK. So the reason I ask is that anytime an ADR performs an eval and downloads new content, the package associated with the ADR will automatically update on any DPs it is assigned to. There is no other built-in mechanism to automatically update update packages on DPs.
