Smart Detection Alert not triggering Action groups when monitor condition is resolved

When an alert is fired, an action group is triggered if it is setup. When the alert is resolved automatically why it wont trigger the action group like other type of alerts? I read the documentation and found an example that says condition resolved part of the payload webhook.

However when the condition is resolved action groups are not triggered which means this example is either not correct or I did something wrong.

Trying to better understand your scenario , as part of alert logic documented here

"There is logic that can automatically resolve the fired alert monitor condition, if the issue is no longer detected for 8-24 hours"

You are trying to understand in above scenario does it send any notification email as part of resolution ? can you please confirm on this so that could help us to assist you accordingly. Thank you

@bharathn-msft Thank you. I added an action group to the Failure Anomalies Alert Rule and it only gets triggered when the alert is created. When the alert is automatically resolve, the action group is not triggered.

As for your question "does it send any notification email as part of resolution", I dont want to receive an email, I want to the action group to get triggered. We dont use the email notification.

@Zein Post validation with our team it has been called out that , currently this is a known limitation, failure anomalies alerts do not trigger action groups when they are resolved. Our team is planning to fix this in a coming releases , unfortunately we don't have an ETA yet.

Will keep customers updated as we get more clarity on the ETA.

Regarding the documentation as well, I have shared the feedback to our team and they will update the document with the above limitation to bring more clarity.
