hi guys,

we know SCCM will support Multicast to deploy the OS image.

does it support for software update group deployment as well ? the reason is if it can support then we can remove a local site and use a remote site for the updates.

Mutlicast is only for the operating system deployment.
For software updates, there are several content management options available there such as peer cache, branch cache, MCC etc.

    Thanks,
