Starting service Service Bus Message Broker on machine POVSxxxxxxxxS2 failed: Time out has expired and the operation has not been completed.

We are trying to configure the workflow manager in SharePoint 2016 server, it is 3 server farm.

when trying to configure the workflow manager we are getting the "Starting service Service Bus Message Broker on machine POVSxxxx2 failed: Time out has expired and the operation has not been completed."

In windows services, Service Bus Message Broker status is starting, i try to kill the session and start it but is again hung at starting stage. change password, enable TLS 1.2, update Service bus but no use. please help

    How did you configure it on your server? I find an article which describes in detail about installing and configuring Workflow Manager in SharePoint 2016 / 2019:

    Same error when configuring Workflow Manager for SharePoint Server Subscription Edition:

    Starting service Service Bus Message Broker on machine ... failed: Time out has expired and the operation has not been completed.

    After adding the service account to the Administrators group it just worked.
