impossible to make primary alias in microsoft account

Question

I add an alias to my microsoft account and want to make it the primary alias. But when I click make primary, nothing change. Try again, nothing change. Again, nothing change. Again, it shows We limit how frequently you can change your primary alias. Try again next week.

So how to make primary alias?

If it a MS365 account, then you have trouble. They do not allow to link a MS365 email as an alias. It is incredible when they allow creation of personal accounts to MS365, why in the world they are not allowing relinking the account as an alias.

Please MS, GSuite accounts can do that. Why in the world you are not allowing to link MS account. You are giving advantage to your competitor.
