Word 2016: Bullet points don't display properly - show as boxes

Hello,

on every .docx document I recive, the normal bulleted list shows boxes instead of the dots.

So the sender sees this:

And I see this:

Other users of the PC doesn't have the problem.

I've tried this:

pls help, I'm crying since last week.

    Usually this is related to the lack of fonts on the system. You can copy fonts to other users' computers and save them to your computer's fonts directory (usually C:\Windows\Fonts)

    Typically, an issue such as this one is related to the font.

    Are you saying that other users on the same computer do not see the empty boxes?

    Has the document ever been edited in Word online (= the web browser version)?

    In this case, Some of the reasons can be there

    1. You may have copied and paste it from pdf file. To make the bullet, You will have to choose bullet option from the paragraph menu.
    2. Probably the font of round bullets is not there. So you will have to install that font or to place that font file in font folder.
    3. Or Probably the user who are not able to see the bullets have older version of MS Word.
