System Center Configuration Manager Current Branch - OSD building PC's but not adding to console

I have several pc's being built with a sccm task sequence. The pc's are getting bitlocker and being added to the domain and installing software as far as I can tell. They are not being added to system center console. The only change was three domain controllers were rebuilt with 2012 R2 over the weekend. (They were 2008 standard) I feel like this should be an easy resolution, but cannot figure out what i am forgetting. Anyone??

Having a hard time with tags on this new format - If anyone can help with that, I would be appreciative.

I ended up rebooting the primary site server and the discovery started working, but the missing pc's quickly disappeared. I then ran through a System reset and rebooted one more time. That did the trick and discovery eventually caught up with all the PC's added in the morning.

Have you checked on one of the devices to see that it got the ConfigMgr client installed and reviewed client logs to see if its communicating? For example C:\Windows\CCM\Logs\CcmMessaging.log and LocationServices.log? Also check the smsts.log to show that the task sequence completed successfully.

    Hi,

Thank you for coming Microsoft MECM Q&A forum.

Agree with Nick. As with all task sequence issues and troubleshooting, it's firstly recommended to examine the smsts.log on the target system.
Please refer to: How to copy SMSTS.log when a Task Sequence fails

Are there any devices working well? Please review the CcmMessaging.log to see if there is any error between the communication between the client and management points, and review statmgr.log and MP_Ddr.log to see if the writing of messages from the MP to the database complete successfully.

    Best regards,
    Simon
