A Global Trade Item Number (GTIN) is a unique and internationally recognized identifier for a product. GTIN codes are assigned by the GS1 organization.
To assign GTIN codes to a product, follow these steps.
- Go to Product information management > Products > Released products.
- Select a product in the grid.
- On the Action Pane, open the Manage inventory tab and select GTIN codes.
- Use the Action Pane buttons to add or remove rows as needed.
- Make the following settings for a new or selected row:
- Unit – Select a unit of measure.
- GTIN code – Select the GTIN standard you're using.
- GTIN – Enter the GTIN code for the product.
- Other dimensions – Enter values in the other dimension columns as needed. To control which dimensions are shown, select Display dimensions on the Action Pane.
- On the Action Pane, select Save.
