MSN Explorer: Web page doesn't load or appear as expected
If a web page doesn't load or look the way you expected, it may be because:
The destination server is unavailable.
The Domain Name System (DNS) server that the Internet service provider (ISP) uses to resolve web addresses is unavailable.
Windows Internet Explorer or MSN settings are preventing access to certain sites.
There is a network outage.
Firewall or filtering software is preventing Internet access.
You're experiencing connection problems.
Spyware, adware, or other unapproved third-party software may have attacked your computer.
Try the following:
If a page that you're trying to view is taking too long to open, click the Stop button next to the address bar.
If you get a message that a web page can't be displayed, or if you want to make sure that you have the latest version of the page, click the Refresh button next to the address bar.
Note
If you visit a website that's protected by SSL, you may experience a similar error if your security settings aren't configured correctly. The web addresses of SSL-protected websites start with “https://”.
